- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Background on me: torn rotator cuff that my orthopedic doctor and I decided to get treated with physical therapy instead of surgery. While Dr. Connolly was obviously not able to actually heal the tear, he did help me to loosen all the muscles in the area and regain strength and vastly improve my range of motion while my body slowly heals itself. Dr Connolly offered to use a treatment called Dry Needling in the affected muscles surrounding the tear (bicep, tricep and deltoid) which I took him up on. I would say that the Dry Needling (combined with his prescribed stretching) cut my recovery time in half, at the very least. He was very proficient, and while the procedure does carry some pain, he was great with helping me thru the whole process. In total, I visited the good Doc 10 times, 3 of which he used the Dry Needling technique on different muscles. Overall, he has a great touch and is the most personable Doctor I've had the pleasure of visiting. 10/10 would use him again!June 30, 2017by Bryan Lerche
